Philadelphia Frostbite Regatta

Philadelphia Frostbite Regatta is a US Rowing registered event, hosted by the Princeton National Rowing Association, and is the culmination of the Autumn rowing season in the Northeast. All are spring races 2000 meters except for High School novice races which are 1500 meters, on 6 lanes.

Cold Weather Policy

When air and water temperature combined is lower than 90 degrees, a committee formed of the Chief Referee, a PNRA representative and a Frostbite/Braxton representative will meet to determine the safety concerns for holding races. At the minimum, there will be additional marshalling launches placed in the warmup and cooldown areas to minimize risk for small boats.
